This website is the portal of the Ambassador Platform for Integrated Applications Promotion (IAP) in Central & Eastern European Region (APCEE) of ESA’s Integrated Applications Promotion (IAP) Programme. It is hosted by the European Space Policy Institute (ESPI) in Vienna.

The objective of this Ambassador Platform, managed by ESPI, is to assist the IAP programme in spreading awareness for potential stakeholders in ESA’s IAP programme, in the region of Central and Eastern Europe.

The region of Central and Eastern Europe is a fertile area for development of new satellite based services of direct benefit for socioeconomic development. For many areas there is a clean slate wide open to new ideas and innovation, with many opportunities to apply cutting-edge technologies.

The IAP programme, which offers opportunities for creating new innovative services utilizing the added value of space assets, can become a serendipitous gateway to meet the needs of the region. Local industry may glean know-how in advanced technologies and services, while providing the citizens with advanced and effective services, as well as develop new market opportunities.
